Moodboard or how to organise his creative ideas!
The other day, I was walking in a veryyy nice shop,
and I came across these linen panels, framed in beautiful antique oak frames. Their price is not quite compatible with my wallet, so, I choose to made one! This will replace very advantageously the kind of horror cork Moodboard which I used for a while!
What is a moodboard? It’s an inspiration board where you pin all your desires of the moment: newspaper clippings, ribbons and fabrics for a proposed project, etc… (for the photo, I withdrew my latest ideas to keep the surprise for you, later!)
It is also a handy reminder for my poor little airhead!

I abandoned the idea of finding myself a nice old wooden frame: flea market is a bit complicated thing in the U.S. and in shop, it is overpriced! I find a nice large frame and in sale in the store!
Then, I covered the bottom with cork : it’s still handy to pin! Then, with a hot glue gun, I fixed my Elephant color linen on the back of the board (and also burned my left middle finger by the way…!).
And tadam! A nice moodboard for my work studio! I could show my Pixie pins collection that I kept hidden since the birth of Aline!
I did not tell you that I was a real cartoon character?
Allright, but in true, now I’m doing my “moodboard” on my IPAD, with the application of the same name and is awfully well done, and it looks more like that (working on owls, as you’ll understand!) :
And you, how do you organise your creative ideas?
